Textura magazine described it as “a painterly album, one enriched by tiny details and open-hearted feeling”. He appeared on projects released by the labels mü-nest (Malaysia) and Audio Gourmet (UK), and has also provided remixes for seminal Singaporean band The Observatory as well as Lunarin.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eBy The Sea\u003c\/em\u003e is a collection of five instrumental tracks that were inspired by the coastal line on the eastern side of Singapore. From moments spent watching the waves gently lapping against the shore, or hiding underneath a shelter during the ocean rain, melodies and structures came naturally, effortlessly and automatically. With the sparkling guest musicianship of \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/theanalogvault.mom\/products\/himorogi-ironomi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"\u003eJunya Yanagidaira (ironomi)\u003c\/a\u003e, and renowned Singaporean musicians Leslie Low and Bani Haykal, these five tracks were an attempt to recapture those moments and memories with sound and melody. Layers and colours of drifting, gentle guitar textures and drones that hopefully evoke the image or feeling of the sea and its waves within the listener.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis 10th anniversary edition of the album contains a bonus track called Glittering Of Ocean Waters that did not make it to the album when it was first released, but was made available for listening online.
