Crafted by prolific Portland nproducer Ramona Xavier, under the pseudonym Macintosh Plus (one of her over 40 aliases), this album shaped the sound of the 2010s, helping pioneer a new genre called vaporwave. As one of the first in a flurry of bedroom producers plundering the entirety of humanity’s musical library to recontextualise in a movement of ironic, Internet-driven postmodernism - Macintosh Plus’ work here was key to defining millennial popular consciousness.
