About
The third installment of the legendary TBM collaboration between the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio and Yoshihiko Kannari brings you a best-of-the-best album featuring listener-requested tracks and studio live recordings !
Jazz pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto and engineer Yoshihiko Kannari, who produced numerous world-renowned albums such as "Midnight Sugar" and "Misty" on the legendary 1970s Japanese jazz label "Three Blind Mice," reunited in 2022 to record "BLUES FOR K" (SCOL1062) with a formidable trio consisting of bassist Hirofumi Kagawa and drummer Hisao Osumi. Following this, they released "SWEET FOR K" (SCOL1071), and both albums were released not only in Japan but also in Asia and Europe, gaining significant attention and high praise overseas.
For their latest album, they conducted a live studio recording with an audience at Tokyo's Onkyo House, the same studio where TBM and their previous album "SWEET FOR K" were recorded. The album fully captures Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's signature live performance and the studio sound created by Kannari's magic. Furthermore, it's a dream come true for music fans, as the songs were selected from requests submitted in advance. The long-awaited re-performance of "Tsuioku," the live favorite "Doxy," and the selection of "Alice in Wonderland," "Fools Rush In," "Milestones," and "Charade" are all thanks to the requests. — (via Label)
